Yes, a leaderboard. Social media doesn't use these — fitness, learning and habit apps do, to keep you coming back. Same trick here, except the way up is getting other people off their screens, not staying longer on yours. Nobody can reclaim more than 15 minutes a day.
Ripple points — the honest reason to share
A day only has 15 minutes to give, so nobody can climb by staying longer. The only way to move up fast is to bring people with you: every person who reclaims a minute through your invite link adds 10 ripple points to your score — forever, and to your country's total too. Your ranking is not a measure of how much time you spent here. It's a measure of how many people you pulled out.

We're openly using the hooks that keep you in apps: streaks, badges, multipliers, country pride and a ranking — the leaderboard part borrowed from fitness and language apps, not from social media. The difference is what they're for: every point is a minute somebody spent away from a screen, and the minutes move a real project forward. Miss a day and you lose nothing but the streak bonus. Leave the board any time by not picking a name.
